Pesky MCP server
officialstreamable_httphostedunverified
Competitor monitoring for founders. Finds the 10 closest competitors from a website, reads them every morning, and exposes that dashboard to an agent over a remote MCP.
01Tools · 15
How to read this: tool names here are observed from a live tools/list handshake. The Risk label is a heuristic inferred from the tool name (write/destructive verbs), not from executing the tool — a conservative guess, not a verified capability. We never escalate risk from a description. Found one that's wrong? Tell us — we fix on report.
| Tool | Risk | Side effects | Approval |
|---|---|---|---|
| add_competitor Put a company on the list by its website and name. | write | true | unknown |
| get_brief_settings When the morning brief goes out (your time zone), whether it's on, and whether it skips weekends. | read | false | false |
| get_domain_ratings Domain rating day by day for your own site and every competitor (or one): today, yesterday and the change, one point per day for up to 365 days. A day that wasn't read shows as empty, never skipped. | read | false | false |
| get_history Morning by morning, which competitors moved and how. Days from 1 to 60. | read | false | false |
| get_latest_brief The last morning brief: when it was sent, its subject, and its contents. | read | false | false |
| get_launches New launches judged close to your moat, with why each came up. | read | false | false |
| get_posts LinkedIn and X posts whole, every word and line break, by their links from get_signals or get_history. Up to 20 at a time. | read | false | false |
| get_signals What moved lately (1 to 14 mornings, default 3): competitor moves, including homepage and pricing changes, what people say about you on LinkedIn, and launches near your moat. Each post comes as its link, a one-line preview and its length; get_posts gives it whole. | read | false | false |
| list_companies Your companies: id, website, each one's domain rating, and which one the dashboard shows. | read | false | false |
| list_competitors A company's competitor list: name, website, priority, whether you knew them, what they do, domain rating, and the latest reading. | read | false | false |
| mark_known Say whether you knew a competitor before Pesky. | write | true | unknown |
| remove_competitor Take a competitor off the list. The assistant should ask first. | destructive | true | true |
| scan_site Scan any website for its competitors: category, the closest one, and up to 10 more, with why. Up to 90 seconds; five an hour. | read | false | false |
| set_brief Move the morning brief to another hour, pause it or turn it back on, or skip weekends. | write | true | unknown |
| set_priority Set a competitor's priority: high, medium, or low. | write | true | unknown |
