DeepDNA local MCP server
communitystreamable_httplocalverifiedhealthy
Reads a raw DNA file on your computer and reports the variants DeepDNA curates, with sources.
01Tools · 6
How to read this: tool names here are observed from a live tools/list handshake. The Risk label is a heuristic inferred from the tool name (write/destructive verbs), not from executing the tool — a conservative guess, not a verified capability. We never escalate risk from a description. Found one that's wrong? Tell us — we fix on report.
| Tool | Risk | Side effects | Approval |
|---|---|---|---|
| check_medications Given a list of generic drug names, say which ones have a curated drug–gene record, with which genes and what each record rests on (a CPIC or DPWG guideline, a drug label, or the primary literature), and which are not covered. Needs no genotype. | read | false | unknown |
| list_genes List the genes in the DeepDNA knowledge base, with a one-line summary and category for each. | read | false | unknown |
| lookup_drug_gene Pharmacogenomic guidance for a gene, optionally for one drug: guideline (CPIC or DPWG, "drug label", or null when the record rests on the primary literature), summary of the recommendation, phenotypes and sources. Omit drug to list every drug curated for that gene. | read | false | unknown |
| lookup_gene Everything curated about one gene: function, key variants with rsIDs, metabolizer or function phenotypes, drug interactions, what a consumer genotyping array can and cannot tell you, and sources. | read | false | unknown |
| lookup_variant One variant by dbSNP rsID: gene, star-allele or common name, alleles, functional effect, population frequency and sources. Send the rsID only, never the user's genotype. A single variant is not a phenotype or metabolizer status. | read | false | unknown |
| request_beta_access Register the user's interest in DeepDNA's private beta (DNA file parsing, annotation, bloodwork; not deployed yet). Only call this after the user has explicitly agreed to share their email with DeepDNA for this purpose, and set user_consent to true. Stores the email and the optional use case; see https://deepdna.ai/privacy/. | unknown | unknown | unknown |

This is one server. A loadout combines the right servers, governance, and proven plays for a whole job — assembled deliberately, not tool-dumped.
